--Uptown brokers will showcase exclusive co-op, condo, townhouse, and high-end rental listings on Sunday, September 21--
NEW YORK, NY – September 12, 2014 – The Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY) will host its first-ever Upper Manhattan Open House Expo in Washington Heights, Inwood, and Hamilton Heights on Sunday, September 21st. From 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., potential buyers and renters will have that opportunity to tour exclusive co-op, condo, townhouse, and high-end rental listings and learn about these vibrant Upper Manhattan neighborhoods from experienced uptown residential brokers.
The inaugural event will kick-off with an information session, meet-and-greet, and complimentary breakfast, sponsored by Chase Home Mortgage, at The Malcolm X & Dr. Betty Shabbazz Memorial and Educational Center (3940 Broadway) from 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Each attendee will receive a neighborhood guide, information about the expo participants, and have an opportunity to meet and network with other buyers before exploring the exclusive offerings, which will include both affordable housing and market rate options.
“Following the success of our second annual Harlem Open House Expo in April, we are thrilled to launch our first open house expo for Washington Heights, Inwood, and Hamilton Heights as we ring in the Fall season,” said DeAnna Reiber, co-chair of REBNY’s Upper Manhattan Committee and an Associate Broker for Halstead Property. “This event is a prime opportunity to show potential buyers and renters the fantastic offerings that are available in these richly diverse and growing neighborhoods.”
“The expo also provides REBNY and its members with an opportunity to support the hard work of our uptown agents as they continue to hone their craft in what is sure to be yet another successful year of real estate transactions,” added Brian Phillips, co-chair of REBNY’s Upper Manhattan Committee and an Associate Broker for Douglas Elliman.
Among those in attendance will be experienced brokers representing firms including Citi Habitats, Coldwell Banker Bellmarc, Douglas Elliman, Halstead Property, Harlem Properties, JR Gomes Properties, Keller Williams Realty, Michel Madie Real Estate Services, New Heights Realty, Reliance Realty, Sovereign Associates Inc., Stephen P. Wald Real Estate Associates, The Corcoran Group, Town Residential, and Warburg Realty Partnership, Ltd. Following the breakfast, each broker will host an open house viewing of their exclusive listing until 3 p.m.
