CRAINS -- NYC's residential market is hot all over

Despite the chill in the air, residential sales across the entire city saw healthy growth in the first quarter of 2014, according to a report released Thursday by the Real Estate Board of New York. The average sale price overall, however, dipped slightly in the period.

The REBNY numbers covering all five boroughs demonstrated that the market's strength in the first three months of the year went well beyond Manhattan, where a slew of reports from residential brokers last week showed both the average sale and price per square foot setting new record highs.
