7 Bryant Park a brilliant addition to NYC skyline

Hines’ much-anticipated 7 Bryant Park office tower will enhance the heart of Midtown Manhattan. The 28-story, 470,000-square-foot steel and glass tower located between 39th and 40th streets on 6th Avenue, will offer direct and expansive views of Bryant Park as well as the historic New York Public Library.
This project, which broke ground in December 2012, will attract top-tier commercial tenants, bring needed tax revenue and create thousands of union jobs, all of which will help boast New York City’s economy.
Hines, along with partners Pacolet Milliken Enterprises, Inc. and institutional investors advised by J.P. Morgan Asset Management are bringing this exciting project to our great city. First occupancy for 7 Bryant Park is planned for the first quarter of 2015.
Designed by renowned architects Henry N. Cobb and Yvonne Szeto of Pei Cobb Freed & Partners, 7 Bryant Park includes 10-foot finished ceilings, full-height clear vision glass and a signature commercial penthouse with a corresponding 850-square-foot outdoor terrace. This LEED® Gold pre-certified building also offers terraces on the 10th and 14th floors.
The building’s entrance façade will feature a concave sculptural detail which gives the building an hourglass shape, distinguishing the design and creating unique feature windows on every tenant floor. Additionally, a floating stainless steel disc, measuring 46 feet in diameter, will be suspended over the corner entrance at 40th Street, serving as both a canopy and an architectural gesture facing Bryant Park.
