Karen L Duncan
Karen grew up as an Air Force “brat”, which meant moving, changing schools and making new friends every few years. As a result, she developed relationship management skills and discovered they were essential when she embarked on her career in real estate.
Karen’s professional real estate journey began at the Museum of Modern Art’s Museum Tower Condominium when she was chosen as an on-site agent. After she sold the PH crown jewel for what was at the time an unprecedented $4.2M, she chose to specialize in residential re-sales. In 2003, however, she was recruited for an executive position in residential sales management - although that experience couldn’t compete with her passion for on-site sales. Two years later, the call from 15 Central Park West for an on-site sales position proved irresistible and the results were spectacular - 201 apartments sold in 18 months for just under $2B! Immediately following that accomplishment, Karen was selected as Director of Sales for Apple Bank Condominium and engineered a successful sell-out.
She has studied at Istituto di Italiano in Florence (Italian), New York University and Columbia Business School and earned a B.S. degree from the University of Cincinnati. She has served on the boards of All Souls Unitarian Church, the Neighborhood Coalition for Shelter and devotes countless hours to the Real Estate Board of New York.
Now a Senior Vice President at Fox Residential, Karen has a keen insight into the Manhattan market. The consummate relationship builder, she is known for her impeccable standards of integrity and professionalism within the industry and works with buyers, sellers, commercial customers and developers.
