NEW YORK, NY – The Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY), the City’s leading real estate trade association, will gather members of the commercial property management industry on June 13th for the 17th Annual Commercial Management Leadership Breakfast. The event will celebrate the accomplishments of commercial property management professionals, including honoring leaders for outstanding work in the field.
The prestigious Edward A. Riguardi Commercial Management Executive of the Year Award will be presented to Daniel Kindbergh of Brookfield Properties. As Executive Vice President, Operations for the New York region, Dan is responsible for overseeing the property management of all Brookfield office properties in the New York City area. He has provided leadership during many critical events in Brookfield’s history such as 9/11, Hurricanes Ike and Sandy and Occupy Wall Street.
“Commercial management teams are the backbone of the real estate industry and essential for New York City’s built environment and the diverse economy it supports,” said REBNY President James Whelan. “We thank all of the honorees and the professionals that keep our buildings at peak performance.”
The additional 2023 honors to be awarded at the breakfast, organized by the REBNY Commercial Management Breakfast Planning Committee, are:
John M. Griffin Community Service Award to Andrew Mattson, RXR Realty
On-Site Manager the Year award to Stephen Latargia, Cushman & Wakefield Inc.
Portfolio Manager of the Year Award to Edina Lemo, Cushman & Wakefield Inc.
Small Building Engineer of the Year Award to Bill Losco, Sage Realty
Large Building Engineer of the Year Award to Michael Fallon, Vornado Realty Trust
Security Professional of the Year Award to Omar Olivo, The Durst Organization
Hector J. Figueroa Porter of the Year Award to Otis Spencer, Fisher Brothers
Rising Star of the Year Award to Meghan Bilello, RXR Realty
The Best Engine Room Award, which recognizes an exceptional engineer’s room showing mechanical, technological and operational improvements in New York City, will be announced at the event.
The breakfast will be held from 7:30AM to 10:00AM June 13th in the 3rd Floor Grand ballroom of the New York Hilton Midtown at 1335 Avenue of the Americas.
