The New York Times and REBNY Team Up to Showcase NYC Real Estate Listings
September 11, 2017
We are pleased to announce a new strategic partnership between REBNY and the New York Times (NYT). This is a significant milestone in our ongoing commitment to providing REBNY members with the best tools and resources to serve their clients.
This agreement connects our RLS Syndication feed with the NYT listings platform. The NYT is pivoting away from its long history of paid listings. Through our partnership, exclusive listings in New York City will be free for brokers. This is a real commitment to the industry. Syndicating listings to the NYT via the RLS will provide information accuracy and transparency so consumers can make the most informed real estate decisions.
Today's news adds to a growing network of RLS Syndication partners, which includes several of the industry's leading real estate websites such as Realtor.com, Homes.com, Apartments.com, RentHop, LeaseBreak, Whichdoor, Leasehop, CampusCribz, YourNeighborhood, Apartable, CompIt and many others.
We anticipate the data integration phase will take a few weeks and we will notify our members when they can start syndicating your listings to the NYT, via the RLS.
In the meantime, we encourage RLS brokerage firms to take a step forward and opt into Syndication today. We have a sound network of websites ready to receive listings and put them in front of consumers.
We are dedicated to delivering unparalleled services to our members.
