REBNY FOUNDATION
The REBNY Foundation (a 501c-3 organization) was founded in 1985 to support and encourage our industry’s generous tradition of philanthropy and volunteerism. Substantial funds have been raised to provide relief for the victims of natural disasters, as well as groups that provide housing and services to New York’s neediest population.
The Foundation established the George M. Brooker Teachers for Tomorrow Fund to provide stipends for teaching fellows. It has also contributed to REBNY’s Member in Need Fund, which helps our members who are experiencing financial hardship due to an illness or crisis. In addition, the Foundation helped raise several million dollars toward 9/11 charities including the Twin Towers fund, the American Red Cross and the September 11th Fund.
