Born and raised in Ohio, Derek Koch attended West Liberty State College on a wrestling scholarship. He studied Applied Economics before moving to New York City in 2002 to pursue a career in Hospitality and Real Estate. There, he and his twin brother, Daniel, have established a loyal following and their successes ultimately enabled them to open a series of popular restaurant concepts including the globally known Day & Night Brunch; the Michelin-acclaimed restaurant, MPD; and TOY, a restaurant at the Hotel Gansevoort under the boutique hospitality firm - Dual Groupe Hospitality that the brothers founded in 2008.

As a member of the top-producing Ariel Cohen Team, Derek understands quality, has a keen eye for design, and is driven to provide best-in-class service to his customers and to his team - making him the optimal partner for selling and buying high-end apartments.
