In 2007 Caroline formed The Bass Team to ensure every client received undivided attention and expert guidance. The Bass Team, comprised of Susan Di Leo, Diana Mitchell and Katie McConaghy, prides themselves on listening carefully to each client. They have been recognized for skillful negotiation and the ability to get transactions done, no matter how complicated or difficult. A native northeasterner, Caroline has a strong background in the arts -- she studied art history in Florence, Italy; photography at the University of Connecticut; and large-scale metal sculpting with a professional artist. Her experience working in a custom jewelry store on Martha’s Vineyard brings a unique dimension to Caroline’s vast business experience. A lifelong learner, Caroline continues to feed her intellectual curiosity when she can, whether taking an art class at the Museum of Modern Art or studying business marketing at NYU. Caroline is currently pursuing her MBA.


Despite her dedication to her clients and her business, Caroline finds ways to give back. She is the founder of the University of Connecticut Alumni Chapter in New York City and continues to be actively involved; she returns to her alma mater as a regular guest lecturer. Additionally, Caroline has supported several charities throughout her career, including the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Hole in the Wall Camp and Prep for Prep.
