With the passage of the federal stimulus package, known as the CARES Act, REBNY has compiled relevant information related to unemployment insurance benefits for independent contractors, including many of our REBNY members and real estate community. The CARES Act has expanded unemployment insurance benefit programs for independent contractors during the Coronavirus crisis. REBNY has put together resources to guide our members and the real estate industry through the application process for unemployment claims.
