Membership in the Real Estate Board of New York is dependent on the
prospective member's primary field of endeavor in the real estate profession.
The folllowing table defines the various levels of membership for Brokers.
A Broker holds New York
State real estate broker's license –acts primarily as a real estate
broker, mortgage loan broker, agent, or auctioneer.
